You know how the old saying goes, training is only 30% of work, the rest is proper nutrition. Proper dieting is something you can’t out train, no matter how hard you may try. If you eat like a pig, you’ll have a body of a pig. You gotta treat your body like a top notch sports car, give it only the best fuel to feed the beast. Which brings us to the topic of conversation, foods that will make you look good for the shirts-off season.

Cottage Cheese

Low in calories and high in protein, this is a typical no brainer. Its carb content is practically non-existent and it aids in digestion. Typical food that’s good to munch on if you’re in need of a quick midnight snack. It’s also great in strengthening your bones, which is a neat benefit. No one wants to snap their sh*t because they have weak bones.


Pickled cucumbers, or pickles for short, are high in acidity meaning they are a very sour tasting food. Which is great because sour foods increase the fat burning process in your body up to 40 percent. So next time you’re on a cut, put pickles in your fridge and chomp on them from time to time. But be careful not to overdo it, because they are high in sodium.
