LIFTING ACCIDENTS: When Lifting Goes A Little Wrong

I don’t know about you but having a little boo-boo in the gym can be seriously damaging…to your ego.

Have you ever put too much weight on the barbell for the bench press only to discover that you’re not as strong as your ego lead you to believe? And so, now you’re reduced to rolling the barbell over your nuts while the whole gym looks on at your embarrassment.

Yeah, that’s happened to me before. I’m just thankful that I have never been injured because my body wasn’t able to cash the cheques that my ego was writing out.

However, I can’t say the same thing for the gentlemen in this video. It must be down right gut-wrenching to have any of the following happen to you. I wonder how many of them showed their faces again at the gym?

Warning, this video has it’s share of graphic-ish accidents and if you can’t hold your protein shake, it’s best you don’t watch. For those of you who can, take a scoop of pre-workout, it makes it a whole lot better.

Yeah no, they just had to open with an Atlas stone accident. That set the mood pretty early on.
