German Volume Training has been around for quite some time. It has a reputation for being one of the most effective forms of training while at the same time you’ll hear some folks bicker and moan that GHV has absolutely no place inside the gym.
People often mistake GVT for something that you can do with every exercise at the gym. They go full volume, doing four exercises that consist of 8 sets and 8 reps. That’s just a big no-no.
