Golden Era Bodybuilder and Powerlifter Passes Away

Former Mr America and Mr International Scott Wilson has died at age 67. Scott was a very talented bodybuilder and epitamised why the 70’s and 80’s were the Golden Era of bodybuilding.

Scott entered his first bodybuilding competition on the back of a dare whilst serving with the US Marines.

This dare led Scott to an impressive bodybuilding career that also saw him compete in powerlifting events too.

Pro Card

Winning his pro card after placing 3rd at the Mr America in 1975, Scott would then place 1st at Mr International in 1981, and then 1st again at Grand Prix Portland 2 years after.

Scotts powerlifting records are:

Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
